Welcome to Yonder Ventures, built and managed by me, Colin Gardiner. I am an economist at heart but also a hopeless marketplace and startup geek who thinks about everything through an economics lens.

Yonder seeks to become the best-in-class early-traction marketplace, platform, and network effect fund. With 16+ years of operating and advising experience with marketplaces, Yonder is uniquely positioned to continue identifying breakout startups early and supporting them through their critical years of growth.

Responsibilities:

• Setup SPVs with pertinent details of the investment
• Build a data room by bringing together relevant materials
• Write a deal memo to pitch the investment opportunity
• Setup email invite for SPV to syndicate members
• Outreach to potential syndicate members
• Help manage deal flow and keep CRM (folk) updated

Expectations:

• Monthly deal support
• Weekly or bi-weekly syncs

Compensation:

• Deal-by-deal carry share for supported deals
• Potentially hourly rate for non-syndicate work
